Pharm (Lady) Ifeoma Atuegwu (Founder/President, Bina Foundation) receives double awards


LADY IFEOMA ATUEGWU, PRESIDENT / FOUNDER, BINA FOUNDATION, HOUOURED WITH THE COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD BY THE INTERNATIONAL INNER WHEEL CLUBS IN NIGERIA

The International Inner Wheel Clubs in Nigeria found Pharm. Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu, President/Founder of Bina Foundation for People with Special Needs worthy to be bestowed with the COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD for humanitarian service rendered through Bina Foundation. 

The official presentation of the award took place during their 30th National Conference / Rally held at Enugu – Nigeria on 11th February 2017. The award was presented by Princess Nnaji, Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs & Gender Development, Enugu State, on behalf of Her Excellency, Mrs. Monica Ugwuanyi, wife of the Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Gburugburu.


MERITORIOUS MARGARETTE GOLDING AWARD BESTOWED ON LADY IFEOMA ATUEGWU, PRESIDENT/FOUNDER, BINA FOUNDATION

In addition to the Community Service Award bestowed on Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu, President/Founder of Bina Foundation by the International Inner Wheel Clubs in Nigeria during their 30th National Conference / Rally held at Enugu – Nigeria on 11th February 2017, the International Inner Wheel Club, one of the most renowned and largest women’s organization in the world, could not do less but to corroborate with another Award.  This time, it is the investiture of the meritorious MARGARETTE GOLDING AWARD on the same recipient, Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu, President/Founder of Bina Foundation for People with Special Needs.

This highly enviable Award was bestowed on her, as she has been generally known and seen to be involved in a great deal of commitment on a consistent basis.   The criteria for this Award are set high so that it remains a truly weighty indicator of Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu’s sacrifice to others, especially people with disability. It is her  assiduousness, clear vision, unquenchable passion and undivided dedication to improve the lives of the downtrodden in the society through the skills acquisition training, rehabilitation and re-integration programs of Bina Foundation  that have combined to earned her this worldwide commendation embodied in the Award. .

Amid a long standing ovation from the enthusiastic disabled students of Bina Foundation, Mrs. Oluyemisi Alatise, President of the International Inner Wheel Club presented the award to Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu at the Foundation’s Arena at Enugu – Nigeria in the company of other board executive and members of the International Inner Wheel Club.
